Community guidelines
Keep content within a teen-appropriate ceiling
Sonafied has a teen-appropriate, PG-13-style content ceiling. This describes our maximum permitted content, not an official film rating. It applies to Free and Supporter accounts and to Public, Unlisted and Private content, including source files, text, profile pictures, and uploaded or externally linked Profile Studio content. It applies to the messages you send in chats as well: a chat being private does not change what is allowed.
What is allowed
- Nonsexual sona and furry artwork.
- Romance, kissing and mild suggestive themes.
- Ordinary swimwear and nonsexual body presentation.
- Non-graphic fantasy action and mature storytelling.
What is prohibited
- Pornography, depicted sexual acts and masturbation.
- Erotic or fetish content primarily intended for sexual arousal.
- Explicit genital detail and sexualized nudity.
- Graphic gore and sexual exploitation, including sexualized minors in any medium.
Context matters, including the presentation and accompanying text. Content primarily intended for sexual arousal is prohibited even without nudity or visible sexual acts. Fictional, illustrated, animated or AI-generated content has no exception. Ordinary nonsexual furry artwork is not sexual content simply because it depicts an anthropomorphic sona.
Respect people and creators
Do not harass people, impersonate creators, or publish someone else’s private information.
The same rules apply in chats. Only people who follow each other can chat, so if you do not want someone to message you, unfollow them.
Images you send in a chat must suit a general audience. Chats have no Mature label, so an image that would need one does not belong in a chat.
Communities and their channels
These guidelines apply to a community’s name, description and picture and to everything shared to it, whether the community is Public or Private. They apply in the same way to the messages in a community’s channels, which anyone can read when the community is Public.
Images you send in a channel must suit a general audience. Channels have no Mature label, so an image that would need one does not belong in a channel.
A community’s owner and moderators decide who belongs to it and what stays in it, messages included. They cannot allow what these guidelines prohibit. Anyone can report a community or its channels to support.
Label mature artwork
Mark otherwise permitted mature artwork when you upload it. A Mature label, adult eligibility, Hide/Blur/Show preference, private visibility or paid image access does not permit content above the ceiling. Keep profile pictures suitable for a general audience; do not use them to bypass content warnings.
Share responsibly
Only share work you have permission to upload. A successful upload or saved Mature label does not mean the content has been approved under these guidelines.
Report a concern
Email support@sonafied.com with the artwork or profile link and an explanation. We review reports in context, remove confirmed violations and take account action for repeat violations. Removal cannot recall downloaded copies or instantly erase cached images.
To report a chat, tell us the other person’s username, roughly when the messages were sent and what happened.
To report a community, send us its link or, for a Private community, its name and its owner’s username. For a concern about its chat, tell us the channel and roughly when, and what happened.
